Universities and schools calendar deadlines for when payments are due and when financial aid must be sent. Other data information includes the first and last day of class, class breaks such as holidays and graduation commencements.

You may also want to visit the school district's home page to check for any urgent or last-minute updates that may not have been incorporated into the official calendars.
Also note that we have incorporated non-student days such as teacher preparation days, teacher in-service days and professional development days into the dates below. Visit the links above to see the full, original school calendar. Fall break will be the first full week in October — Monday, October 5th through Friday, October 9th.
Students will get a two-day break in early November as Monday, November 2, has been set aside as a district staff day and parent-teacher conferences will be held. There will be no school on Tuesday, November 3 because of the general election.
Kcs Back To School Information
FCS will close for winter break on Monday, December 21st, and will reopen on Tuesday, January 5th. A professional development day is scheduled for Monday, January 4th.
A professional development day, which could also be used as a make-up day, is set for Friday, February 12, 2021. There will be no school on Monday, February 15, 2021, which is Presidents' Day.
Friday, March 12, 2021, has been set aside as a district staff day and Monday, March 15, 2021, is scheduled to be a professional development day. However, both dates could be used as makeup days.
Fairfax Co. Schools Adopt Equitable Academic Calendar With Goal Of More Inclusion
Another district staff/make-up day is scheduled for Friday, April 2, 2021 — the Friday before spring break, which is scheduled from Monday, April 5, 2021, to Friday, April 9, 2021. Unless it is used as make-up day, friday. , April 30, 2021, will be a professional development day.
The last day of school for students will be Tuesday, May 25, 2021, although the district may add make-up days for Wednesday, May 26, through Friday, May 28, 2021, if the need arises.
