Red Blvd, in Mission. Registration is on January 27th.

Mission, Texas – Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) of Hidalgo County and Commissioner's Office no. 3 Hidalgo County, Mission City and Sherriland Independent School District (ISD) will hold a Covid-19 vaccination campaign on Thursday, January 28 at the Mission Event Center, 2425 Ruby Red Blvd, Mission. Officials emphasize that the elderly population should be given the highest priority for this vaccination.

In order to reduce the waiting time and make the work efficient, eligible citizens are required to pre-register for Modern vaccination from 12 noon. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Sharyland High School, 1216 N. Shari Road. To pre-register, residents enter through the North Campus entrance of Sharyland HS next to the tennis court. To prevent Covid-19, citizens are encouraged to bring their pen for registration. Personal identification is required at all times when interacting with staff in the check-in area.

During the pre-registration process, eligible residents will be issued a color-coded wristband showing the designated return time at the Mission Center, 2425 Ruby Red Blvd. Lake on Thursday, January 28. Patrons will be allowed to enter the vaccination lot parking lot 30 minutes before the scheduled time on Thursday.

Due to the limited number of vaccines available at this time, the clinic will offer the team on a first-come, first-served basis. Vaccination recipients must be nominated to receive a wristband. Do not attend if you have symptoms of Covid-19 or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive.

The mission to prioritize vaccinating the greater population was born before 1956. The Mission Events Center will have a drive-thru lane for disabled or elderly residents who cannot walk or stand for long periods.
