Ccny Spring 2023 Academic Calendar – EOPS is a state-funded student support services program. Its mission is to provide specialized recruitment, retention and transfer services to qualified students. The services offered are "above and beyond" those offered by the College's Student Services Department. Elementary school services include assistance in the following areas: priority enrollment, counseling/counseling, and preparation for transfer to four-year colleges and universities. The EOPS office will provide detailed information on all services offered and the application process.

New Student Orientation: If your application is accepted, you will receive an email inviting you to attend the required New Student Orientation.

Eops / Care / Nextup / Summer Readiness Program

CARE is a program for single-parent students who receive CalWORKs financial aid and meet other eligibility criteria. Services are designed to provide additional support and help students achieve financial self-sufficiency by earning a certificate, associate degree, or transferring to a four-year college or university.

NextUp is an EOPS supplemental program designed to support the educational and wellness goals of current and former foster youth. EOPS provides additional support 'above and beyond' what it provides to eligible students.

Loans For Students

The Summer Preparation Program is a 6-week summer orientation for university students entering their first degree program. Students are enrolled in a learning community that includes personal growth classes. They participate in social engagement activities to support their transition from high school to college.

Applications for the 2023 SRP will be available by the end of April 2023. After submitting your SRP, you must complete the 2022-2023 FAFSA or the California College Promise Grant (CCPG) – formerly the Board of Governors Tax Grant (BOGW) application).
