Miracosta Academic Calendar 2023
MiraCosta College 2O22-22O23 Catalog MiraCosta College publishes a new catalog every year. The information published in the catalog is valid for the academic year that begins with the fall semester and ends with the summer holidays. This catalog is valid from Summer 2022 through Summer 2023. Degree, certificate, and general education requirements may change during a student's time at MiraCosta College, and these changes will be reflected in the catalog. Directory privileges are established when students first attend classes at MiraCosta and are maintained through continued enrollment at the university. These rights avoid liability for changes in the student's curriculum in the years after initial enrollment. To be considered for continuous enrollment, a student must receive one letter grade (including a "W") each semester. However, a free semester does not deny the student continued status. The directory used to determine the student's eligibility for graduation will be the directory used when the student begins continuous enrollment at MiraCosta, unless the student's application requires a different directory. Students whose continuous enrollment has expired and need the remaining credits to fulfill all requirements for the degree can be evaluated in any catalog during the last semester or in the last period of continuous enrollment. Degree-seeking students may apply for a degree at any time after all degree requirements have been met. The diploma is obtained in the last semester or the last term of continuous enrollment according to the catalog.
